Ben J. Genet is extremely passionate about giving back to the community. If he had the access, manpower and funding to solve all the Jewish community’s problems, he would take them on himself. Since that is not humanly possible, he decided to become involved with the Jewish Federation of Broward County, which has the resources from many people coming together to help thousands of Jews in Broward County, Israel and the world.

The Jewish Federation has played an important role in Heather Gilbert’s life for many years. Giving back to the Jewish community has been instilled in Heather through her family. Her mother, Rhonda Small, made her a Lion of Judah at the age of 21. Since then, Heather has maintained her pledge. She contributes a great amount of time to the Jewish Federation of Broward County having had active roles in Young Leadership Division, Campaign Kick-Off and Israel 60 Celebration.
