Wednesday, September 15th, 2010

Wanting to know what it meant to be a Jew, Brett Robins went on one of the first ever High School in Israel trips to experience Judaism for himself. Enjoying the program thoroughly, he was then given the opportunity to attend Project Otzma after completing his undergraduate studies. As an American on a year long volunteer program in Israel, he was placed with an Israeli host family. From that year on, Judaism took on a whole new meaning to Brett.

Bill GrossIt doesn’t matter where Bill Gross is, the Federation will always be a constant in his life.

It has been a part of his life for as long as he can remember. When he moved to South Florida, Bill became active in the Jewish Federation of Broward County.

Ira ColemanThroughout his childhood, Ira Coleman’s parents instilled in their children that it was important to give back to the community. So it was no surprise that the managing partner of the Miami office of McDermott, Will & Emery, became very active with the Jewish Federation, and is now the Communications Committee Chair for the Jewish Federation of Broward County. He is involved with the Federation because as a Jew, he feels it is important to give to other Jews who aren’t as fortunate.
